From Working Dogs, For Working Dogs
Dog Trainer Depot was born from a simple observation: working dogs need equipment that works as hard as they do. As professional trainers ourselves, we were frustrated with flimsy slatmills that broke, crates that bent, and accessories that couldn’t withstand real working dogs.
In 2012, we started designing and building our own equipment in Austin, Texas. Our first slatmill was built in a garage with input from K9 handlers and protection sports trainers. Today, our equipment is used by law enforcement, military working dog units, and competition trainers across the country.
“If it can’t survive our dogs, it doesn’t leave our shop. Every product is tested by Belgian Malinois before it ever reaches our customers.”

Lifetime Partnership
When you buy from us, you get lifetime support, training advice, and a team that genuinely cares about your dog’s success.
Trainers Who Get It
Our team is composed of active trainers, K9 handlers, and working dog enthusiasts.
TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONAL UNITS
Built in Austin, Tested by Malinois
Our 12,000 sq ft facility in Austin, Texas houses our design studio, testing area, and customer experience center. Every slatmill is assembled and tested here before shipping.
We maintain a small but dedicated team of craftsmen and trainers who ensure every piece of equipment meets our exacting standards. No automation, no shortcutsβjust quality workmanship.
Dog Trainer Depot doesn’t just sell equipmentβthey partner with you. Their team understands working dogs because they work dogs themselves. That makes all the difference.
